Venture Wild Paddleboard Rental Terms & Agreement

1. Rental Agreement Overview

By renting a Venture Wild paddleboard, you (“Renter”) agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Rental Agreement. Paddleboards are rented from third-party locations and must be reserved and paid for through the Venture Wild website, with the exception of Headwaters Adventure Co., which may rent boards directly from their store.

2. Rental Fees & Duration

  • All rentals are charged a one-day fee per rental period.
  • Rentals begin at the time of pickup and must be returned by the agreed-upon return time.
  • Late returns may be subject to additional charges.

3. Liability & Assumption of Risk

  • The Renter assumes full responsibility for the safe use of the paddleboard and acknowledges that paddleboarding involves inherent risks.
  • Venture Wild and its rental partners are not liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage resulting from the use of the rental equipment.
  • The Renter agrees to comply with all local water safety regulations, including but not limited to the use of a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and quick-release leash where applicable.

4. Board Damage, Loss & Replacement Policy

  • The Renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Damage will be assessed, and the Renter agrees to cover repair costs or, if necessary, the full replacement value of the board and accessories.
  • Lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged boards must be paid for in full at the current retail value.

5. Pickup & Return Policy

  • Rental boards must be picked up and returned at the designated location.
  • The pickup and return location will be provided at the time of booking.
  • Failure to return a board on time may result in additional rental fees or replacement charges if the board is not returned within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the rental start time for a full refund.
  • No-shows or late cancellations may forfeit the rental fee.

7. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By proceeding with the rental, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement. The Renter must be 18 years or older. The Renter further agrees to release Venture Wild and its affiliates from any liability related to using the rental equipment.
